I’ve been lucky to have projects recognized with Cannes Lions, Webbys, OMMAs and Effies awards; a few have been featured by Apple as App of the Day (a couple even more than once). Whether it’s teaching product design at UCSD and SVA, founding and leading a design studio and innovation lab, or giving discussions and talks at international conferences on the future of product design and innovation; the experience is something I find joy in.

In a past life, I was a professional skateboarder from age 17 to 20, and try to bring a DIY ethos and artistic aesthetic to my style of leadership; and my ankles are glad I'm no longer jumping down lots of stairs on a regular basis.
